- The Unfitted Collection-

Client: Huckleberry | Location: Cotswold’s, UK

Over the summer, The Faction partnered with Huckleberry, to help launch their newest range, The Unfitted Collection.

Huckleberry’s goal is to bring high design and artisan quality free-standing kitchen furniture to the mid-market. Seeing a kitchen industry dominated by similarity and little variation, Huckleberry didn’t want to just be putting boxes together and doing the same-old, same-old. The customer should get more for their money, less veneer and less MDF, more solid wood, traditional joinery, and more sustainable; so, they get something that lasts, designed by experienced artisans, without costing a bomb.

As a new company, but with decades of experience in the furniture and kitchen industry, Huckleberry knew a digital focused approach to marketing was the place to start. For the Unfitted Collection, Huckleberry turned to The Faction to help understand what was possible and how they could grow their marketing content over time as they expanded their product selection and marketing diversity.

With the Unfitted Collection having a wide selection of colors and cabinet configurations, Huckleberry was looking at either spending thousands on studio photography or having to compromise with only a small portion of their product range being photographed in order to keep the budget in check. Neither were ideal options for a new company looking to standout with a new product. By partnering with The Faction, Huckleberry was able to create a solid foundation of their product catalogue that suited their budget, which they can sell with now and also gives them a lot of flexibility going forward as they grow.

Huckleberry credited the collaborative process with The Faction with helping them open up a lot of doors and ideas as well as creating a strong brand identity through the stories that could be created within each image. While they know studio photographs are well and good, one of the benefits they saw with working alongside The Faction is that they can change the colors at a snap, modify backgrounds, widely adapt dressing, and the images can be manipulated quickly.

With this foundation of product visuals, Huckleberry now has the flexibility to quickly expand their marketing content in future. Whether it is adding more stand-alone products, entire kitchen concepts or even building tools like online color/unit configuration. We can’t wait to see their success and where we’ll go next together.
