Free Script - Colour Libraries for 3ds Max [Up to Max 2026]
We're back at it with another useful tool to speed up your workflow. Years ago there was a material script that let you quickly pick RAL colours from a drop down list. Unfortunately, it's been long since abandoned.
That's where our new Color Libraries script comes in. Not only is it a super quick way to add things like RAL colours to your materials, but it is flexible, allowing you to easily add additional colour libraries.
Find the script at the link below if you want a copy. When you want to use it in 3ds Max, go to the material editor and it's under Maps -> General -> Colour Libraries.
Color Libraries 2.3 is now released! It includes support for Max 2024-2026. Additionally, it has added functionality to set a custom folder for the colour library files.
